3D CAD/CAM System

With this system we can accept data on a wide range of formats. We can also offer 3D modelling from conventional 2D drawings to enable tooling to be cut direct by CNC machine.

Delcam PowerSHAPE

This software is used with high specification computer hardware to enable us to model and design tooling to customer specification. The final 3D model work is then transferred to Delcam PowerMILL.

Delcam PowerMILL

This software creates cutter paths from the 3D designed tooling. The cutter paths are then downloaded to our wide range of high specification CNC machines for the tooling to be manufactured in the chosen material.

Delcam PowerINSPECT

This software enables us to check the finished product produced by our CNC machines on our Steifelmayer 3D CMM. From the same software the final component can also be checked from the original 3D model if required by the customer.
This process is becoming more in demand due to project timescales and also 2D drawings not being produced.
Casting inspection can also be carried out using the same process.
